Employees from many areas of campus have been working closely with the NWACC OC&T team (Organizational Change and Training) to keep our implementation project on track. Today, we’d like to share information with you regarding our timeline and the work that is being completed as the project continues to move forward. We're happy to report that it's been a smooth flight with no turbulence so far. The planning and architect phases of Operation Take Flight are complete. We are ahead of schedule, have a low rate of errors for data validation, and multiple milestones have been met.  Read more

Why are we replacing Banner with Workday?

Banner has become high-risk software for the college. Its technology is dated, difficult to change and integrate with, and does not provide sustainable value for NWACC. It requires a lot of maintenance and resources (time and money) to maintain stability, and continues to increase in complexity and cost but not in delivered value. The change from Banner to Workday is a high-priority for NWACC because the system houses important data and processes including HR, Finance, Payroll, and Student Information–impacting everyone on campus.   Read more...
